We are a non-profit 501(c)3 volunteer organization that provides community service through the construction or restoration of structures to instill hope to those who have encountered loss due to uncontrollable circumstances. SOAC began as a relief effort when a few volunteers collected and distributed necessities to survivors of Hurricane Katrina. The need for assistance was compelling. More volunteers returned with donated building supplies and borrowed equipment to restore a church. The group became known as SONS OF A CARPENTER and since then has helped many people and many communities.
